Your rights and requests in Quebec

For access, correction, withdrawal of consent, deletion, portability where applicable, or a privacy complaint, contact the operator at the support address below with the subject “Privacy”. Proportionate proof of your authority may be requested. Do not send passwords or sign-in codes. Legal obligations may limit some requests.

Providers and processing outside Quebec

OpenAI/Sites provides sign-in and hosting, Cloudflare provides application processing and storage, Resend delivers optional message notices, and Microsoft Outlook handles support email. These providers may process information outside Quebec and Canada. Quebec data residency is not guaranteed.

Protection and choices

Private features require sign-in and server-side access checks. Conversations are restricted to participants in the application; moderation is restricted to the authorized owner. Message emails are optional and can be disabled in preferences or through the unsubscribe link.

Approved public listings may be indexed by search engines. Removing a listing does not guarantee immediate removal of copies or results retained by third parties.

Nearby searches, statistics and community

The optional three-character postal area is public. Nearby search uses approximate area centres and does not save your search location. We store signed-in visitor account identifiers with the listing and UTC day to count at most one view per person per day. Listing owners receive totals, never visitor identities. Anonymous visits are not counted by this feature.

A reference price is stored with each saved listing to show approved price drops on-site. Approved events and sponsor placements display their submitted public details and external links. The site processes no advertising payments. Removed entries and view records remain stored; contact Support for requests about your data.

Optional message emails

When available, message emails are off by default. If you enable them, we store your consent, chosen language and sign-in account email. Resend processes that address to send a generic notice with an inbox link. Conversation text and the other member’s contact details are not included. We retain delivery attempts and unsubscribe preferences; addresses with delivery failures or spam complaints are suppressed to protect delivery. Turn emails off in your preferences or using the unsubscribe link. Search, price and availability alerts remain on-site.

Sign-in and marketplace activity

ChatGPT handles sign-in. The marketplace receives your account identifier, name and email to associate listings, saved items and conversations with your account and to identify the marketplace owner. It does not receive your ChatGPT password or conversations.

The site stores listing details, uploaded photos, saved listing references, buyer inquiries, seller replies, read status and listing reports to provide those features and review marketplace activity.

What becomes public

Approved listings include the seller name, description, price, city, province, specifications and photos. These can be viewed by anyone. Do not upload identity documents, payment details, home addresses or photos containing information you do not want to share publicly.

Your account email and saved-items list are not included in public listing responses. Information you deliberately put in a listing or photo becomes part of that listing.

Business profiles and search alerts

Business profiles store the name, type, Canadian location, description and optional public website supplied by their account owner. Approved profiles and links to that account’s approved listings are public. Editing a profile sends it for review again; removing it hides the profile without permanently deleting its record.

Saved-search filters and the time you last reviewed their matches are stored with your account. They are private, work across devices and are used to show newly approved matching listings on-site. Saved-search alerts do not send emails. Remove search deletes that saved-search record.

Messages and reports

On-site conversations are accessible to their buyer and seller accounts. Listing reports and moderation notes are reviewed by the marketplace owner. Message the seller only with information needed for your inquiry; do not send passwords, verification codes or financial details.

Hosting and cookies

Sites by OpenAI hosts this marketplace using Cloudflare services for the application, database and photo storage. Sign-in and hosting providers may use cookies and process technical request information to operate and protect their services. The marketplace does not process payments or send SMS notifications.

Unfinished listing drafts

The selling form temporarily saves item details and uploaded photo references in this browser, separately for your signed-in account. Drafts are not shared across devices. Contact names and email addresses are not stored in the browser draft. Use Clear draft to remove it, especially on a shared device. Browser storage can be cleared or unavailable, so it is not a permanent backup. Submitted listings are stored by the marketplace.

Editing, removal and retention

You can edit your own listings, mark them sold, or remove them from browsing in My listings. Removal hides the listing and allows restoration; it does not permanently erase stored data or uploaded photos. Conversations, reports and removed listings currently remain stored, and there is no automatic deletion schedule or self-service account deletion tool.
